Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Solar Technician I for the Chillingham Solar/Storage Facility in Rogers, Texas. You will support operation and maintenance of solar assets, troubleshoot inverters, panels, and related equipment, and use SCADA, Maximo, and SAP to manage work orders and reporting.

This field role requires on‑site presence, on-call rotation, and the ability to travel domestically as needed. Minimum technical certification or diploma and willingness to work outdoors in varying

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in a technical program with AC/DC electrical theory.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and understand industrial electrical equipment.
• Willingness to be on-call for outages and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on PV inverters, panels and tracking systems.
• Operate standard hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Follow ENGIE documentation and LOTO procedures.
• Create and close work orders in Maximo.
• Conduct site safety orientations for visitors and vendors.
