Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks a skilled Field Operations Technician to perform MACD, installation, repair, configuration and testing for ISP/OSP equipment. The role requires on-site work at customer locations, travel with a company vehicle, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

You will test circuits with OTDR, support copper and fiber services, and ensure safe operations following Ledcor’s safety program while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, security, and/or cabling.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide elite customer service experience at all times.
• De-escalate customer concerns professionally.
• Perform installation and repair of internet, copper and fiber cabling, routers, and demarcation extensions on-site at customer locations.
• Identify and analyze technical issues and provide solutions for cable runs, card swaps, and data circuits.
• Adhere to Ledcor’s safety program while using all vehicles, tools, and equipment.
