Job summary

Associated Bank seeks a Field Services Engineer to provide onsite installation, maintenance, and support for technology hardware across branch locations. You will work with IT teams to resolve hardware issues, support projects, and ensure equipment remains operational.

The role offers independent field work with team collaboration. The position requires a technical Associate degree and 2–4 years of hands-on hardware experience, including IP phones, Windows, and networking.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years troubleshooting PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and multifunction devices.
• Experience with IP telephone installation and support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications.
• Knowledge of Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and network infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must be able to lawfully drive as required and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain HP, Data Card, and Lexmark certifications within one year.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, printers, and multifunction devices onsite.
• Configure and deploy laptops and related hardware for staff.
• Resolve connectivity issues with IP phones and network devices.
• Lead or support hardware installations, relocations, and deployments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inventory audits, and asset management.
• Review hardware performance and suggest replacements as needed.
• Provide AV and technical support for meetings and events.
• Develop and maintain hardware procedures and test new solutions.
