Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician I for our Charleston, WV location. You will service and repair Renewal by Andersen products, diagnosing issues, and ensuring solutions meet cost-effective standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with 2+ years of window installation experience preferred. You will mentor teammates, manage stock, and deliver Signature Service to homeowners.

Qualifications

• High school degree and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to service and repair previously installed windows & doors.
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision-making skills; follow systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills; strong listening and empathy skills; organization skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels.
• Ability to train others on technical application and product requirements
• 2 or more years of window installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.
• Analyzes customers situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner.
• Keep team member informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Coach, train and mentor Service Techs.
• Keep service area neat and organized; inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed; provide detailed information to Service RSRs.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Advanced knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
