Andersen Corporation in New York state seeks a field-based Service Technician to repair and maintain Renewal by Andersen products, using a company vehicle. You will diagnose issues, communicate clearly with customers, and manage parts and inventory while delivering Signature Service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; 2+ years window installation experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years window installation experience preferred.
• Basic construction techniques; knowledge of building materials and industry terminology.
• Ability to handle confrontation in a tactful, diplomatic manner.
• Basic math, legible writing, and basic Word/Excel skills.
• Diagnostic, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organization for scheduling and stock control.

Responsabilidades

• Service and repair previously installed RbA products.
• Analyzes customers’ situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner.
• Keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Provide accurate part descriptions, including part numbers, to Service RSR.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Basic knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
