Job summary

Ott, a Veralto company, is hiring a Field Service Technician to perform installation, calibration, and service of In-Situ sensors and analyzers at customer sites across the Northeastern U.S., based in the Washington DC metro area. The role is remote and requires extensive travel, with emphasis on reliability and customer relationships.

The position reports to Field Technical Service and offers onboarding, training, health benefits, and opportunities for growth within Veralto's Water Quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred
• 2 years Troubleshooting & Diagnostics experience
• Mechanical knowledge and electrical skills
• Experience with industrial instrumentation including PLC communication
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Windows and Office
• Ability to travel up to 75% and lift 50–65 lbs

Responsibilities

• Be part of the technical team providing field service for In-Situ sensors and analyzers
• Perform on-site installation, calibration and training of process sensors and analyzers
• Assist customers to maximize product reliability and uptime
• Coordinate with site owners and contractors for successful equipment installation
• Manage regional customer relationships and support the sales team
• Attend product and application training and maintain field service kit inventory
• Write detailed service reports and identify upsell opportunities for service offerings
