Job summary

Ott, a Veralto company in Washington DC, seeks a Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair water quality instrumentation at customer sites across the Northeastern U.S. The role is remote and based out of the Washington DC metro area, with up to 75% travel to sites.

You will diagnose issues, perform calibration, and write detailed service reports while supporting regional customers and ongoing product training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years experience in Troubleshooting & Diagnostics.
• Mechanical and electrical skills with a technical background.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation and PLC communication.
• Good communication and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair and installation of products at customer sites.
• Diagnose system failures and determine cost-effective solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support.
• Travel within the Northeastern U.S. region; work remotely from Washington DC area.
• Write detailed service reports with troubleshooting and parts used.
