Job summary

Ott, a Veralto company, seeks a Field Service Technician to service and install In‑Situ Process Sensors and analyzers across the Western U.S., primarily based in Los Angeles, CA. The role is remote, with extensive travel to customer sites and strong focus on reliability and data quality.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will diagnose issues, perform calibrations, and train customers while advancing your technical and customer service skills in a dynamic water-quality environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Troubleshooting & Diagnostics experience.
• Mechanical and electrical skills are required.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with Windows/MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair, and installation at customer sites.
• Diagnose system failures and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with owners and contractors for successful installations.
• Write detailed service reports with troubleshooting steps and parts used.
• Manage regional customer relationships and support sales initiatives.
• Attend product and application trainings to stay updated.
