Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems. You will operate on-site, sometimes under supervision, and coordinate with technical support to ensure first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction.

Travel is required and candidates must comply with safety guidelines, maintain documentation, and manage time effectively while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and administrative skills required.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Experience in a technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, power distribution units and battery systems.
• Provide on-site and phone support to customers.
• Coordinate with Technical Support on issues.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain service reports and inventory.
• Strive for first-time fix at customer sites.
