Job summary

Vertiv in the United States seeks a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and break-fix service on UPS, PDUs and battery systems. You will support edge-market customers with on-site and phone assistance, maintaining safety and quality documentation.

Travel is required; you will work with cross-functional teams, receive comprehensive training, and benefit from a company vehicle, PPE, and robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Able to work with minimal supervision after training.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, PDUs and batteries as assigned.
• Work on-site at customer locations and provide phone support.
• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents as required.
• Maintain service reports and documentation of work performed.
• Coordinate with Technical Support for issues and escalation.
• Assist with inventory and company assets as needed.
