Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, power distribution, and battery systems. Travel to customer sites and provide on-site and phone support, following safety guidelines and company procedures.

You will work under supervision or independently after training, coordinate with Technical Support, and maintain documentation and inventory while upholding Vertiv's safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Keep Safety Bulletins and Field Change Notices up to date.
