Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems, in the Edge market segment including retail and municipal customers.

The role demands customer rapport, safety awareness, and the ability to work under supervision or independently after training. Travel and variable hours are required; a clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, PDU, and battery systems as assigned.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Coordinate with Technical Support on issues and guidelines.
• Maintain safety, administrative and inventory tasks per policy.
• Aim for first-time fix and high customer satisfaction.
