Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site and remote support for small to medium UPS, power distribution units and battery systems across edge, retail, financial and municipal customers. You will work under supervision or independently after training, with a focus on first-time fixes and strong safety practices.

Travel is required; you will maintain equipment, complete service and administrative reports, and uphold Vertiv’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET or progress towards is preferred.
• High School or Vocational Diploma required.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field is advantageous.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical issues.
• Maintain and follow safety guidelines and company policies.
• Complete accurate administrative tasks and service reports.
• Strive for first-time fix on equipment.
