Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units, and battery systems. You will establish rapport with customers and colleagues, supporting Edge market segment needs with hands-on engineering and service delivery.

The role requires travel and on-site presence, with training provided to cover safety, procedures and product specifics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational training is required.
• Experience in field service or related technical role is a plus.
• ASEET/AMEET or progress toward is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, PDU and battery systems as assigned.
• Work under supervision or independently after training completion.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Coordinate with Technical Support on issues and solutions.
• Follow Field Change Notices and safety guidelines.
• Maintain completion of service reports and documentation.
