Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, power distribution, and battery systems (2-120KVA). You will establish rapport with customers, colleagues, and sales reps while supporting Edge market segment customers—retail, financial, and municipal sectors.

Responsibilities include on-site service, remote assistance, and adherence to safety guidelines. Travel is required with flexibility in schedule, including potential weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma required.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins and Field Change Notices.
• Complete administration tasks and reports per guidelines.
