Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measurement instruments at customer sites across the region. The role requires hands-on work with high-tech CMMs and a willingness to travel extensively.

You'll train in-field and in-classroom for ~3 months, then work independently. A company vehicle, tools, training, travel expenses, and a gas card are provided. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
• Tech School, associate or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics or similar.
• Military Technical School training or experience accepted.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Microsoft Windows operating system knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites.
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
• Travel within region; 50+ hours per week; 70-90% travel in region.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
