Job summary

Carolina Handling, a Raymond Dealer and a leading automation systems integrator, is seeking Field Technicians to service lift trucks and automation equipment at customer sites across North Carolina. You’ll diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations and repairs, and maintain a professional, safety‑minded service presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years in maintenance, repair, or installation is preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and electronics understanding; reading schematics and manuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: identify and diagnose electro-mechanical problems and perform installations and repairs as needed.
• Customer Interaction: interact with customers to understand concerns and resolve issues.
• Professionalism: maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
• Repair Work: execute repairs efficiently addressing situations promptly.
• Scheduled Maintenance: perform maintenance tasks for contracted customers.
• Inventory Management: track parts and supplies in service van.
• Van Maintenance: keep service van stocked and maintained.
• Safety Compliance: adhere to customer safety guidelines at sites.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
