Job summary

Carolina Handling LLC, a leading automation systems integrator, is seeking Field Technicians to service lift trucks and equipment at customer sites. You will be the main point of contact for customers and play a key role in maintenance, repairs, and installations in the field.

You'll need mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronics knowledge, plus the ability to read schematics. A valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of related maintenance, repair, or installation experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems; able to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, installations and repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and recommend actions.
• Maintain professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers.
• Keep track of parts and supplies in the service van.
• Maintain service van and ensure tools and supplies are stocked.
• Adhere to safety guidelines on customer sites.
