Job summary

ZEISS Group in Knoxville, TN seeks a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and calibrate high‑tech CMM instruments at customer sites. You will travel within your region 70–90% and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or technical training equivalent.
• Technical degree or training in electronics or industrial mechanics preferred.
• Military technical training welcomed.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate CMM instruments at customer sites.
• Travel 70–90% within region; document service work and maintain records.
• Work hands-on on high-tech CMMs using mechanical/electronic aptitude.
• Represent ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment; adhere to safety standards.
