Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking an experienced technician to diagnose, repair and calibrate a range of Topcon products. The role includes maintaining service records, supporting dealers, and contributing to engineering evaluations and failure analyses.

You will develop test fixtures, procedures, and manuals, and conduct training for dealers and junior technicians in both virtual and classroom settings. A minimum of 3 years in electronics repair, with related degree(s), is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electronics repair role within a manufacturing/service setting.
• AA in electronics or related technology, or equivalent military training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate all Topcon products, ensuring optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and enter relevant information into the service database.
• Provide technical repair support via phone or email to assist the Topcon dealer network.
• Assist in engineering evaluations, failure analysis and generate reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Develop test fixtures, troubleshooting stations, procedures, work instructions and service manuals.
• Conduct repair training for the Topcon dealer network and junior technicians, both virtually and in classroom environments.
