Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, support, and optimize Topcon Machine Control systems on construction equipment. The role places you on job sites with contractors and operators, often traveling, to keep projects moving and ensure precision.

You will gain paid training and mentorship, with a clear path to senior technician, trainer, or sales engineering roles within a growing construction retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school preferred.
• Field experience with heavy equipment construction machinery.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Topcon Machine Control systems on dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, and more.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, hydraulic, and electronic systems to improve machine accuracy and performance.
• Research and diagnose technical issues to identify effective solutions.
• Provide pre-and post-sale technical support for customers and sales teams via on-site visits, phone, email, and remote tools.
• Represent the company professionally at customer job sites and build long-term relationships.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions: rain, heat, and cold are part of the job.
