Job summary

A leading construction technology firm is seeking a Field Service Technician in Livermore, California. This role involves hands-on work installing and servicing Topcon Machine Control systems on various construction equipment. Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical aptitude, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Qualifications

• Comfort troubleshooting hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Physically capable of climbing onto large equipment and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Field experience or prior work with automotive, diesel, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn heavy equipment operation and advanced technology.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Topcon Machine Control systems on construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software systems to improve machine performance.
• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for customers and sales teams.
• Represent the company professionally at customer job sites and build long-term relationships.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions: rain, heat, and cold are part of the job.
