Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead installation training, visit job sites, and ensure warranty programs are properly executed. You will develop installation manuals, train personnel, create detailed reports, and collaborate with Technical Services, QC, and Engineering while traveling up to 95% domestically and internationally.

The role requires strong communication, travel readiness, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1 year construction field services experience recommended.
• Proficiency reading construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct installation training programs on site and in classroom settings.
• Modify and update installation manuals to maintain current information.
• Visit assigned job sites to ensure proper installation and train personnel on product installations.
• Visit major claims in the region and agree on corrective actions with cost justification.
• Identify issues at job sites and propose new procedures to improve quality.
