Job summary

Carolina Handling LLC is seeking field technicians to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites in the Carolinas. You’ll diagnose electro-mechanical issues, perform installations and repairs, and maintain a professional customer relationship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance, repair, or installation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems and diagnose issues on equipment, install and repair as needed.
• Interact directly with customers to understand concerns and recommend actions to resolve issues.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively with customers.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address situations promptly and professionally.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment for contracted customers per company policies.
• Keep track of parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
• Maintain and stock the service van with necessary tools and parts.
• Adhere to customer safety and housekeeping guidelines at sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
