Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC seeks a Field Technician to service material handling equipment at customer sites across Georgia. You will diagnose and repair electro‑mechanical systems, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional, safe service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installations, and timely communication with customers. You will manage inventory in the service van and uphold safety standards while representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electro‑mechanical problems and performing installations/repairs.
• Interact with customers to understand concerns and propose actions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the company positively.
• Execute repairs efficiently and address issues promptly.
• Perform scheduled maintenance for contracted customers.
• Keep parts and supplies inventory in the service van.
• Ensure the service van is stocked and maintained.
• Adhere to customer safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Support operations and carry out additional duties as needed.
