Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Support team in the St. Louis area.

The role involves hands-on installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC lathes and magazine bar feeder equipment, with travel required during training and occasional travel thereafter. You will represent the company professionally, communicate clearly with customers, and collaborate with our support team to plan corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related service technician experience or equivalent certified training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and represent the company professionally.
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with CNC turning centers is a plus.
• Proficient with Windows and common software packages (e.g., Salesforce Lightning).
• Self-motivated and project-driven.

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment to add value for the customer.
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting with customers.
• Receive briefing from teammates prior to customer visits.
• Install, troubleshoot, and service magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations.
• Collaborate with the Technical Support team to plan corrective actions.
• Tools and instruments provided.

Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the St. Louis area. This position will require travel for hands-on training during the first year. After the initial training, this position will be based in St. Louis with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company are critical requirements
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus
• Must possess above‑average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning
• Must be self-motivated and project-driven

Duties

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintaining the equipment while adding value for the customer
• Travel on‑site for troubleshooting any issues our customer has with machinery
• Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates prior to customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needs
• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified region
• Work collectively with the Technical Support team to develop a plan for correcting the issues
• Tools and instruments provided
