Edge Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Support team serving customers in the Southeast region, including Huntsville, Alabama.

You will install, repair, and maintain magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes, travel on-site to customer sites, and collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues. Strong PLC/HMI experience, industrial electronics knowledge, and good Windows/Salesforce Lightning skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years related service technician experience or equivalent certified training
• Ability to communicate with customers professionally
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers is a plus
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Salesforce Lightning

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain equipment, delivering value to the customer
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting at customer locations
• Receive briefing from Technical Support before customer visits
• Install, troubleshoot, and service magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes

Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company are critical requirements
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus
• Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning

Duties

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintaining the equipment while adding value for the customer
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting any issues our customer has with machinery
• Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates prior to customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needs
• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified region
• Tools and instruments provided
