Edge Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Support team. This role covers the Southeast region, performing installation, repairs, and maintenance of magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer sites.

Travel will be on-site to troubleshoot customer machinery and ensure reliable operation. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of related service experience or certified training on industrial equipment, strong communication skills, and solid

• 2–5 years of service technician experience or equivalent certified training on industrial equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and represent the company professionally.
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro‑mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers; sliding headstock lathes is a plus.
• Must have above‑average computer skills and be able to use Windows and Salesforce Lightning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintaining equipment while adding value for the customer.
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting issues at customer locations.
• Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates prior to customer visits.
• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes.

Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the Southeast region.

Qualifications:

• Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company are critical requirements
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus
• Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning

Duties:

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintaining the equipment while adding value for the customer
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting any issues our customer has with machinery
• Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates prior to customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needs
• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified region
• Tools and instruments provided

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Overnight travel will be 50 - 75% depending on your base of operation.
