Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in South San Antonio is seeking an Associate Field Service Technician to install, service and repair retail POS equipment and related store technologies across customer sites in the region.

Candidates should be prepared to travel extensively, perform diagnostics, and provide quality customer service while maintaining strong working relationships with store personnel and management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel 100% of the time domestically.
• Knowledge of PC technology, networks, cash registers and POS equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with electronics and ability to use test equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operates in assigned territory, performs basic repairs and services on products.
• Travel to customer locations to perform installations, relocations, and upgrades.
• Communicates status, issues and customer satisfaction to stakeholders.
• Completes service events in a timely, high-quality manner to meet commitments.
• Plans and schedules work with flexibility for varying shifts and overtime.
