Job summary

Renewance, Inc. is seeking a Level II Field Service Technician to support industrial battery systems across stationary energy storage and EV applications.

The role involves on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair with a focus on reliable customer service and safety compliance. The position requires 75%+ travel to customer sites, a technical or trade background, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a field service technician in electrical power generation or renewable energy.
• Experience with computers and installation of controls firmware and software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 75% or more to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for customer projects.
• Assist with cold and hot commissioning of battery systems.
• Support decommissioning of battery systems and sites.
• Act as EHS representative for the field.
• Escalate field service issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote collaborative and solutions-oriented team culture.
• Ensure safety regulations and quality guidelines compliance.
• Complete project administrative tasks on time (reports, expenses).
• Travel to and remain at jobsites until tasks are completed.
• Manage field tools for assignments.
