Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our growing team in the United States. You will perform on-site service, maintenance, and repair of battery equipment, supporting energy systems for telecommunications, data centers, utilities, and other critical infrastructure.

The role requires travel to customer sites, installation, troubleshooting, and training with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance with OSHA/DOT and ISO9000 standards, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 ½ years of field service experience in electrical, telecom, or energy-related fields.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and test equipment; aptitude exam required (70% pass).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installation, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and training; maintain accurate service records.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards.
