Job summary

Power Electronics, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, is hiring a Field Services Technician to ensure optimal performance of solar and battery inverter systems across the U.S. You will perform startup, commissioning, diagnostic, and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires Journeyman or Master Electrician license or related degree, 2–3 years in field service, and willingness to travel and provide 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master’s Electrician license required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years in field service, commissioning, or maintenance of industrial electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at photovoltaic plants.
• Ensure systems are configured and operating according to specifications.
• Diagnose and repair inverter faults in the field.
• Replace components such as MV transformers, switchgear, electronic boards, AC/DC fuses, fans, and filters.
• Submit accurate daily field reports detailing work performed and time spent.
• Travel across the U.S. for service and 24/7 coverage when needed.
