Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair radar and defense systems. The role requires frequent short-notice travel and the ability to work in demanding environments, independently or as part of a team.

Training customers on operation and maintenance is a key responsibility. The ideal candidate has strong technical problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and can deliver both formal and on-the-job training in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• BA/BS degree in engineering is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field, or 4+ years of military service as an Air Defense or Battle Management system operator/maintainer.
• Must hold a current U.S. DoD SECRET clearance.
• Must be capable of lifting, removing, and replacing components weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex systems using manuals, schematics, and support to address electro-mechanical issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems independently or with the team.
• Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to design and software engineering teams.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers on site.
• Support other company functions, including customer installation and training.
• Deliver training to customers on the operation and maintenance of Saab products.
