Job summary
Saab, Inc. is seeking a Field Service/Technical Support Engineer to provide outstanding service to our customers. The role involves remote and on-site support across multiple complex systems, diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, software, and networked or wireless systems.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, solutions-focused, and able to build strong customer relationships. Domestic and international travel up to 25% is required, with opportunities to collaborate
Qualifications
- BA/BS in engineering with 2+ years related experience, or MA/MS in engineering, or 6+ years military/aerospace experience.
- Experience with the design, operation, or maintenance of radar and surveillance systems.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers across multiple complex systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment, software, and networked/wireless systems.
- Resolve complex issues independently or with others as needed.
- Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues, plus software bugs to design/engineering teams.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually (2–4 trips per quarter).
