Job summary

Mettler-Toledo, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and calibrate floor and bench scales at customer sites.

You will perform preventative maintenance, basic repairs, and end-user training while traveling within your region and representing the company professionally. The role requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 25% with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or GED or 5 years relevant work experience.
• Field service or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 25%.
• Ability to obtain Weights and Measures license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations, projects, and repairs with senior technicians.
• Provide end-user training on equipment use and care.
• Document work and update service records daily using company laptop and service software.
• Communicate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, sales and fellow technicians to meet uptime and response-time goals.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory in a clean, organized, and compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads as appropriate.
• Follow safety and quality policies at all times.
