Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to service floor and bench scales across the Jacksonville region. You will perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.

You will document work and update records, train end users, and coordinate with support teams while traveling up to 25% and maintaining safety standards. This role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair concepts, including PC networking and software configuration.
• 1–3 years of electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Weights and Measures license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on weighing equipment at customer sites, following procedures and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations, projects, and repairs with experienced technicians as needed.
• Provide end-user training on equipment operation and care.
• Document work performed and maintain service records in the service database daily.
• Communicate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support Team, sales, and other technicians to meet uptime and response targets.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory in a clean, organized, compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads in line with your experience.
• Follow all company, customer, safety, and quality policies to ensure a safe work environment.
