Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking a field service professional to perform calibrations and preventive maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment. You will install and repair equipment with guidance from senior technicians, ensuring data integrity and timely paperwork.

The role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to travel up to 20–30%, and adherence to safety and quality policies while supporting customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair philosophies.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Weights & Measures license for the service area.
Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically, up to 30% in peak periods.

Responsibilities

Perform calibrations and preventive maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment per MT procedures.
Installations and repairs alongside experienced team members.
Maintain service database data integrity and complete paperwork daily.
On-call rotation to support MT customers; travel by company vehicle or plane as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies; liaise with customers and internal teams.
