Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites within the assigned region. You will document work, train end users, and maintain service records.

The job requires a valid driver's license, the ability to travel up to 25% (overnight up to 25%), and a High School Diploma or GED or 5 years of relevant experience. CDL may be required depending on territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred; may require CDL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to learn METTLER TOLEDO proprietary software and programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues and support installations and repairs with senior technicians as needed.
• Provide end-user training on proper use and care of equipment.
• Document work performed and maintain service records in the database daily.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, and sales to meet uptime targets.
