Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to join our U.S. Services team. You will perform assembly, startup, diagnostic and preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites, collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams.

This site-based role includes a 40-hour week with overtime and occasional travel; you’ll receive direct product training and hands-on experience with digital and physical tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational cert, military training or similar electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power systems
• Industrial/commercial electrical experience
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS systems

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Complete service and expense reports, PMs, and data sheets.
• Travel regionally; may include overnight travel by vehicle or air.
• Support Project Management on larger system start-ups.
