Heidelberg USA in Los Angeles seeks a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and install Heidelberg Postpress bindery equipment. You will work with qualified riggers, perform on-site training, and ensure equipment meets factory standards.

Requirements include a minimum two-year technical degree or equivalent, 5–10 years field service experience, and the ability to travel up to 75% (occasional weekends). Salary offered is $72,500 per year.

Competenze

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
• Two years in field engineering servicing electro‑mechanical devices and demanding customer sites.
• Technical degree is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of field service experience.

Mansioni

• Perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of Heidelberg Postpress bindery equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and training on Heidelberg Postpress equipment.
• Work with riggers to install/move equipment.
• Return unused or incorrect parts promptly.
• Complete all paperwork (expenses, time, training, car maintenance).
• Inform dispatch on time estimates; update as needed.
• Update customers on ETA and repair status.
• Install equipment with testing to factory standards.
• Provide operator and maintenance training on site.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and repairs as directed.
• Provide feedback via Mobile Service App during visits.
• Travel up to 75% of the workweek; occasional weekend work.
