Heidelberg USA is seeking a Field Service Technician for Postpress equipment to service customer sites across multiple locations. You will install, troubleshoot, and train on Polar Cutters and Stahl folders, traveling to customer locations as needed.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, strong customer focus, and the ability to work with riggers and a certified electrician. A technical degree and 2+ years in field service are preferred.

Formación

• Minimum two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology.
• Minimum two years in field engineering positions servicing complex electro-mechanical devices and high demand customer locations.
• Technical degree a plus; High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of Heidelberg Postpress bindery equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and training on Heidelberg Postpress equipment.
• Install and move equipment with qualified riggers; complete paperwork timely.
• Keep dispatch updated on time estimates and changes; inform customers of status.
• Provide on-site training and operator support; assess training needs and report to Heidelberg US.
• Deliver periodic on-site troubleshooting and repairs as directed by management and GSC.
• Provide detailed feedback via MService during and after visits.
• Travel up to 75% of the workweek; occasional weekend work may be required.
