Job summary

Heidelberg USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team as a remotely located employee, traveling to customer sites in your region to install, set up, and service Heidelberg Postpress equipment including Polar Cutters and StahlFolder systems. You will perform on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, repair work, and customer training with a focus on quality and timely job closure.

A two-year technical degree and field service experience are preferred; travel up to 75% and occasional

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent in mechanical, digital, and electronic tech.
• Minimum two years in field engineering servicing electro-mechanical devices at customer sites.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of Heidelberg Postpress equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and training on Heidelberg bindery equipment.
• Install/move equipment with riggers; complete paperwork and time sheets.
• Provide on-site training and customer support; escalate as needed to ensure satisfaction.
