Zusammenfassung

Aerotek is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites, install, commission, and repair packaging machinery and conveyors. The role trains operators and maintenance staff, tests machine performance, and provides phone and remote support when not on the road.

Responsibilities include installing, commissioning, repairing, and testing equipment, documenting service activity, and ensuring GMP-compliant operations with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial machinery.
• 1+ year automation troubleshooting with automated equipment and control systems.
• 1+ year customer service in technical or field support capacity.

Aufgaben

• Travel extensively to install, commission, and repair packaging machinery and conveyors.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on operation and procedures.
• Test and monitor machine performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide phone/remote support when not on site.
• Coordinate with in-house assemblers to prep machines for commissioning.
• Perform final inspections and tests before shipment to customers.
