Job summary

MIRATECH in the Los Angeles area seeks a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, commissioning SCR equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and training. You will prepare reports, coordinate site activities, and travel as required within the LA area.

The role requires 0-4 years of field service experience, a valid driver’s license and passport, and ability to work in a non-smoking environment; overnight travel up to 75% is common, with continuous product

Qualifications

• 0-4 years field service technician experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Passport or ability to obtain one required.
• Willingness to travel 60-75% overnight.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and replacement parts identification.
• Site coordination and project meetings.
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance.
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field.
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion.
• Keep up-to-date on company products and services.
• Plan own work schedule efficiently.
• Maintain test equipment and special tools calibration.
