Job summary

MIRATECH in the Los Angeles area seeks a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, training, and technical support. Responsibilities include commissioning SCR equipment, preventive maintenance, and remote customer support by phone.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in instrumentation and controls, with travel up to 60–75% and ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and passport preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years field service experience or equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commission the total system scope for new MIRATECH installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.
• Provide telephone support including troubleshooting and parts identification.
• Coordinate site activities and attend project meetings.
• Deliver post-commissioning training on operations and maintenance.
• Submit daily field reports to customers and internal staff.
• Follow up with customers after service work.
• Stay updated on MIRATECH products and services.
• Plan work schedule efficiently and manage tools/calibration.
