Job summary
Ricoh is seeking a Field Services Technician to support customers around Des Plaines, IL. You will travel to client sites to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Ricoh printers and copiers, delivering hands-on service in varied environments.
The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with a company-provided vehicle and mileage reimbursement. A strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background is preferred, with excellent customer service on-site.
Qualifications
- Experience in field service or equipment repair.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills for diverse equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting abilities for industrial devices.
- Ability to diagnose electromechanical issues on-site.
- Background in maintaining industrial machinery.
- Experience with automotive or military technical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations throughout the Des Plaines, IL area.
- Diagnose and repair Ricoh printers and copiers.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment installations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hardware issues.
- Configure equipment and ensure proper operation.
- Document service activities and completed work accurately.
