Job summary

IPG is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair IPG products at customer sites in Washington. You will own customer issues until resolution and ensure compliance with service agreements. On-site installations, preventive maintenance, and product demonstrations may be required.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, an associate degree in a technology field, and 3–5 years of related experience. Travel by car or air, including weekends and holidays, is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of electronics
• Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical individuals
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Travel up to 50%+ may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide maintenance support and training to in-house staff when needed.
• Record and report faults and incidents.
• Coordinate with Field Service Manager and issue work orders/ RMAs as required.
• Upgrade software on field equipment as necessary.
