Job summary

KLA is seeking a field service professional to perform on-site maintenance and repair of complex capital equipment at customer sites in the Hillsboro area. You will diagnose issues, drive corrective actions, and participate in ongoing product training to ensure high uptime and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have an electronics/electro-mechanical background, are willing to travel, and can work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or electro-mechanical discipline or equivalent military technical training.
• Able to work in a clean room environment with PPE.
• Willing to travel internationally and domestically.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of complex capital equipment at customer sites.
• Drive corrective actions to minimize downtime and interruptions.
• Complete ongoing training on KLA products and field troubleshooting.
• Prepare field service reports and communicate with internal teams.
• Assist with quotes for repairs based on parts, time, and costs.
• Represent KLA to customers with accountability for satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers to minimize downtime and ensure equipment readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
