Job summary

RJ Young is seeking a hands-on Technical Service Representative to repair and maintain multifunction office equipment in the field, including copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines. You will also assist with basic network setup, all while providing excellent customer service.

This role requires driving to client sites, working independently, and documenting service activities. A high school diploma is required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Prior electrical, mechanical, or computer experience is advantageous.
• This is a field-based role requiring travel and hands-on hardware work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and part replacements.
• Set up devices to print/scan on basic networks (network knowledge helpful, not an IT role).
• Provide basic training to end users on hardware functions.
• Work independently in the field while staying connected with the service team.
• Maintain detailed service records, mileage, payroll, and call reports.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance for you and your company vehicle.
