Job summary

RJ Young is seeking a hands-on Technical Service Representative (TSR) to repair and maintain office equipment in the Knoxville area. This field-based role focuses on copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines, with some basic network setup for printing and scanning.

You'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and train end users while collaborating with a service team. Travel to customer sites is daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Prior electrical/mechanical/computer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines
• Perform preventative maintenance and part replacements
• Set up devices to print and scan on basic networks (not IT role)
• Provide basic training to end users on hardware functions
• Work independently in the field, while staying connected with the service team
• Keep detailed service records and submit mileage, payroll, and call reports
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance (yourself and your company vehicle)
